Our Foundation Transition Program
We understand that transitioning from kindergarten to primary school can be a daunting experience for children and parents alike.
Our Foundation Transition Program is designed to support you and your child build confidence, relationships and knowledge of our school through a series of dedicated sessions.
With an aim to help your child settle happily into school, sessions may include:
- A parent information evening – for answers to all your questions
- Student familiarisation sessions – an opportunity to meet other new students and our teachers in modified classes
- Pyjama Party – an evening to bring your pillow, favourite teddy to settle over a cup of milo and listen to bedtime stories
A Teddy Bear Picnic – an opportunity to meet some older buddies and enjoy a picnic under the trees
New to the area?
Moving to a new area and school can be a stressful time for families and children. We support students and families during this transition process and ensure that they’re given the space and confidence to make new friends.
We will do everything possible to help your child settle in happily to their new school.
